Mike Outram is a British guitarist & improviser. He has performed and recorded with artists such as Steven Wilson, Tim Garland, Donny McCaslin, Till Brönner, Gareth Lockrane, Carleen Anderson, Theo Travis, Martin Speake, Robert Fripp, Laurence Cottle, Julian Siegel, Tony Remy, Herbie Mann, Steve Buckley, Tim Ries, Nikki Iles, Hamish Stuart, Trish Clowes, Gerard Presencer, and Laura Rossi, appearing on over a hundred and fifty recordings across jazz, contemporary, and progressive music. He teaches at the Royal Academy of Music, Trinity Laban, and The Guildhall, London. Beyond his performing and teaching, he leads an online community ElectricCampfire.com, dedicated to helping guitarists develop creativity, improvisation, and musicianship.
